BGS-CX61 background elimination laser spotlight photoelectric switch is a high-performance diffuse reflection sensor specially designed for occasions with complex backgrounds, strong reflectivity, and small targets. Built in background elimination circuit, simply set the sensing distance with the knob, and the sensor will only respond to objects near that distance. All devices, brackets, walls, and other objects behind the target object will be automatically shielded without misoperation, making it very suitable for use in production lines with tight installation space and cluttered backgrounds.
Using a 655nm red light-emitting diode with a spot diameter of only about 2mm, it is a truly small focal point that is not easy to diverge and can reliably detect extremely small parts, narrow color bands, small hole positions, and other targets. Black and white same distance design ensures that workpieces of different colors and reflectivity have a similar detection distance at the same position, and color changes will not affect the detection results; Even switching back and forth between black rubber, glossy metal, and white plastic can maintain a stable movement point. BGS-CX61N is an NPN output and BGS-CX61P is a PNP output, both using open collector mode. The load voltage is below DC26.4V, the load current is below 100mA, the leakage current is below 10 μ A, and the residual voltage is low, making it convenient to directly connect to PLC, relay or counter. By combining the white and blue lines, the “ON when entering light/ON when blocking light” working mode can be switched to adapt to different control logics. The working voltage is DC12-24V ± 10% (ripple P-P10% or less), and the consumption current does not exceed 30mA, which is both energy-saving and reliable. The response time is less than 0.5ms, making it easy to cope with fast-paced working conditions such as high-speed conveyor lines, sorting machines, and packaging machines.
The sensitivity of the sensor can be finely adjusted by 5 turns through the top knob, which is intuitive to operate and convenient for quickly setting the optimal switch point on site according to the target size, material, and background distance. The shell is made of high-strength PBT engineering plastic, and the front lens is made of high-quality PMMA material, which can effectively filter stray light and resist electromagnetic interference; The overall protection level reaches IEC60529 IP67, which is dustproof and waterproof, suitable for harsh industrial environments with dust, oil mist or water vapor.
In terms of environmental adaptability, the working temperature range of BGS-CX61 is -25 to+55 ℃, and the storage temperature is -40 to+70 ℃; The working humidity is 35-85% RH, and the storage humidity is 35-95% RH (without freezing or condensation), which can adapt to the temperature and humidity changes in most production workshops. The typical detection distance is 30-120mm or 30-300mm models, which can cover most of the needs for detection, in place detection, and misalignment prevention at short to medium distances.
