The JNS-LX101 / PZ-LX101 series digital display color mark sensors are cost-effective color detection solutions specifically developed for use in packaging, printing, labeling, lithium electrode production, electronic assembly, and other on-site applications. They are capable of stably detecting a wide range of colors, color blocks, and color bands, with a detection distance range of approximately 8~35mm (typically 8~25mm).
The sensor utilizes a 4-element light-emitting diode (LED) light source, which provides stable light output, long lifespan, and good adaptability to different measured colors. It offers three detection modes internally: MARK, C, and C1:
* MARK mode is used for high-contrast color patch detection;
* C-mode automatic color matching detection, capable of recognizing the target color itself;
* The C1 mode incorporates brightness determination based on color, making it more suitable for working conditions that are sensitive to reflections and variations in light and dark.
The biggest feature of this series is its “visible” digital display debugging. The top is equipped with a red operation indicator light and a dual 4-digit digital monitor, which can simultaneously display the threshold value and the current detection value, with a range of 0-9999. When adjusting the sensitivity, simply align the color scale being tested with the SET button, then align the background with the SET button, and you can complete the two-step teaching. There is no need for an instrument on site to visually confirm the margin, and ordinary operators can quickly get started.
The output mode is NPN/PNP open collector, with one output port that can be freely switched between LIGHT-ON and DARK-ON. This facilitates the integration with PLCs, relays, or counters. It comes with multiple built-in delay functions, including off-delay, on-delay, one-shot timer, and on-delay one-shot timer. The delay time can be set from 1ms to 9999ms, effectively filtering out jitter and false signals.
Power supply voltage: 12~24VDC (±10%). In standard mode, power consumption does not exceed 300mW. Under 24V power supply, the current is very low, making it suitable for centralized installation of multiple units. In terms of environmental adaptability, it can operate stably under strong light conditions of 20,000lux for incandescent lamps and 30,000lux for sunlight, with strong anti-interference capability. The operating temperature range is -10~+55℃, and it maintains long-term stability under non-frosting conditions. It has passed a vibration test with a dual amplitude of 1.5mm at 10~55Hz for 2 hours on each of the X/Y/Z axes, demonstrating reliable and durable structure.
Overall, the JNS-LX101 / PZ-LX101 digital display color code sensor combines “ease of use + high performance”: simple debugging, intuitive display, fast response, strong environmental adaptability, and offers multiple models such as NPN/PNP for selection. It is an ideal choice for applications such as assembly line color code positioning, misassembly detection, printing alignment, and packaging bag cutting control.
