The BGS-CX441\/442 series background suppression photoelectric switch is a short to medium distance object detection sensor designed for complex on-site conditions such as “color disorder, background clutter, and strong reflection”. The product adopts the principle of adjustable background suppression detection, which determines the presence or absence of a target based on distance, rather than simply relying on the color and reflectivity of the object being tested. Therefore, it can achieve stable detection on various materials such as black, white, metallic luster, transparent or semi transparent, truly achieving “only recognizing distance, not picking colors”.<\/p>\n
The series includes two types of spot and range specifications:<\/p>\n
*BGS-CX441 small spot type, with a spot diameter of approximately 2mm and an adjustable detection distance of 10-100mm, with a black and white distance of 80mm, is very suitable for close range detection of precision parts such as ultra small parts, narrow edges, and small holes.
\n*BGS-CX442 large light spot type, with a spot size of about 15mm, adjustable detection distance of 20-300mm (white paper can reach up to 500mm), black and white at the same distance of 280mm, more suitable for long-distance detection of large objects, irregular objects, or the presence\/position detection that requires a large margin.<\/p>\n
Both models use 655nm red semiconductor laser LD light source, which meets the requirements of JIS\/IEC CLASS1 and FDA CLASS1. The output power is less than 4.5mW, which is safe, reliable, and the light spot is clear and visible, making it easy to align and debug on site. The black and white error is only within 3% of the set detection distance. When switching between materials such as black rubber, white paper, metal parts, etc., the detection distance hardly changes, greatly reducing the misoperation and error caused by material changes.<\/p>\n
In terms of electrical performance, the working voltage of the product is DC12-24V \u00b1 10% (ripple P-P10% or less), and the consumption current does not exceed 30mA. The output is an open collector of NPN\/PNP, with a maximum load voltage of DC26.4V and a maximum load current of 100mA. The protective structure complies with the IEC60529 standard, with a protection level of IP67. Combined with a sturdy PBT shell and impact resistant lens material, it can operate stably for a long time even in harsh factory environments with dust, oil mist, or high vibration.<\/p>\n
Each model is equipped with a 2m lead out cable, which can be easily fixed and wired for use during installation. By using a rotary potentiometer with up to 5 turns, the detection distance can be finely adjusted.
